Very good advice. However, working full-time - even at home during COVID-19 - can be difficult to set a specific time each day to write. Work and life gets in the way. But no more excuses. For me, I try to write in the mornings before work. However, if I can't write in the mornings, I will do it in the evenings. I read that Jane Austen tried to write at a set time daily, but she was always interrupted by family and friends. So she adapted by writing whenever she could. And hey, she published 6 novels that are still read today....not bad for someone who didn't have a typewriter or laptop. :)
